Haven’t they travelled along the earth, and then haven’t they seen the consequence of those before them? They were grater in mighty and heritage than these, then Allah seized them due to their own offences, and they had none to protect from Allah.
The ancestors had more pride, dignity and long life than the people of now. But when they rejected the Messengers with whom Lord’s Book Adhikr was sent with, they became wrongdoers and transgressors, and then they were destroyed as explained in verses 6: 47 and 46: 35. Then their leaders or followers or any of their creation in the land didn’t benefit to them from the punishment. This verse warns that these people will also be affected with same consequence if they continue their arrogance and denial towards Adhikr. When other people of Messenger Muhammed also by hiding and rejecting Adhikr become the wrongdoers and transgressors just like the Arabic Qur’an reading Fujjar, the end of world will happen.
