(Annisa) 4 : 80
مَنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ ۖ وَمَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا
Anyone who obeyed the Messenger, surely he obeyed Lord Allah; while anyone turns away, then We have not sent you as a custodian upon them.
The Messenger was following Lord’s Message Adhikr. As there is none to show Messenger's lifestyle among mankind, one has to follow Adhikr which is the Best Interpretation of Lord's Book as explained in verse 25: 33. The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who hide and reject Adhikr will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell, those are in the worst place, and they are the most strayed as told in verse 25: 34. Messenger is sent as a Warner for the Fujjar, whereas a Herald for those who follow Adhikr and submit wholly to the Lord as explained in verse 16: 89.
