Indeed, they are not calling except the female deities; and indeed, they are not calling except the rebel Satan.
The Meccan pagans during the Messenger's time were considering the Angels as Lord's daughters, and Jinns (Sprites) as Lord's sons as told in verse 6: 100.
It is told in verse 32: 4: "Lord is the One Who created the heaven, earth, and all in between them in six days, then He established on the Throne, you have no protector or intercessor besides Him; will you then remind others in their heart’s language?" The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who read these verses by forgetting Adhikr have become worthless people as told in verse 25: 18. The Fujjar who reject Adhikr which is the Best Interpretation of Lord's Book will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell, they are in the worst place and they are the most strayed as told in verses 25: 33-34. They are denoted as the worst creatures in verse 8: 22, not for not hearing and talking about the Arabic Quran, but Adhikr. It is told in verse 18: 101 that the Fujjar who didn't see the Book Dhikree, nor hear It are the disbelievers into Hell.
It is told in verses 16: 20-21: "And those whom the Fujjar invoke besides Lord create nothing, while they are being created. They are dead, lifeless, they don’t even perceive the time when they will be raised again". It is told in verses 36: 74-75: "The Fujjar have adopted other deities instead of Lord Allah so that they may be helped. They are unable to help them. They will stand up as a troop against them when they all are gathered together on the Day of Judgment". It is told in verses 34: 40-42: "When all the creatures are summoned on the Day of Judgment, the Angels will be asked: ‘Were these people serving you?’ Then Angels will reply: ‘Glory is to You! You are our Protector without them, but they were serving Jinns, and most of them were believing with them’. Then today none of you can benefit or harm each other in any way. Lord will tell the wrongdoers to taste the Torment which they were rejecting”.
It is told in verses 35: 13-14: "Those whom you appeal instead of Lord don’t control a wisp. If you appeal to them, they will not hear your appeal, even if they hear it, they won’t respond to you, on the Day of Judgment they will deny your claim that they were associates of the Lord. No one will inform you of such things except the Three-Time-Knower". On the Day of Judgment, even Satan will absolve from his false promises made up on the Fujjar as explained in verse 14: 22.
It is commanded the Messenger and believer to challenge the Fujjar through verses 7: 194-195 as: "Indeed, those whom you are invoking without Lord are the servants just like you. Then you invoke, then let them respond to you if you are so truthful! Do they have legs for walking, or they have hands for holding things, or have they eyes for seeing, or have they ears for hearing with them? You call your patrons besides Lord, after that you all plot against me, and no need to give me any respite". It is told in verses 19: 93 that nothing exists in the universe except being the servant of the Impartial Lord. Messenger Ibrahim has told his father through verses 19: 44-45: "Oh, my father! You don’t worship Satan, indeed Satan has ever been disobedient to the Impartial. Indeed I fear that the punishment of the Impartial will touch you for having chosen Satan as a patron".
To put it briefly, the Fujjar Mujirims who choose patrons with Lord are serving none except the Satan who will lead them to Hell. See explanation 1: 4; 2: 256-257 and 36: 59-62.
