ADHIKR

Whoever holds to Adhikr—the Safeguard mentioned in verse 5: 48—holds to Allah—the Safeguard mentioned in verse 59: 23—and is guided on the Straightpath, as told in verse 3: 101. Those who forget Adhikr forget themselves and Allah and become transgressing hypocrites and disbelievers, as told in verses 9: 67-68 and 59: 19. They will wail at the time of their death, saying, “I was careless concerning Allah, and I was among the mockers.” Such Mujirim Fujjar will ridicule the believer in this world, as told in verse 83: 29.
