(Fathwir) 35 : 42

And they swear by Lord with their solemn oath that if a warner comes to them, they would be more guided than any other community; thus when the warner came to them, it increased to them nothing except aversion.

This verse describes the pagans of Mecca during the time of Messenger Muhammad. Today, Adhikr—the Best Interpretation of the Lord’s Book—is codified. It is the Manifest Reading. When the believer introduces it to the people of Messenger Muhammad, the Arabic Quran-reading Fujjar among them, who are filth, show more aversion towards it than any other people. That is why they are characterized as the worst among the 1,000 communities of the Lord’s creatures, as stated in verses 8: 22 and 25: 33-34. They falsely claim that the Quran was sent down from the Lord and that the Lord will preserve it. However, there is no such verse or part of a verse in the Lord’s Book. Instead, verse 15: 9 states that the Lord has sent down Adhikr, and He will preserve it. As explained in verses 16: 43-44; 21: 24, and 41: 43, all 313 Messengers, from the first Messenger Noah to the last Messenger Muhammad, were revealed with only Adhikr in different periods. Only their bodies were in different languages. See explanation 9: 65; 25: 27-30, 60; 28: 48-50; 98: 6.
