And not the two seas are alike, one clear sweet and pleasant to drink, while other is salty and bitter taste, from each one you are eating fresh meat, and you derive ornament for wearing, and you see the ships move cleaving through them for seeking His favors, so that you may be thankful.
It is stated in verse 25: 53 that He is the One who has set free two seas: one fresh and sweet, and the other salty and bitter, with a barrier and an unseen partition between them that cannot be passed. The believer is compared to the clear, sweet water, while the Arabic Quran-reading Fujjar, including the hypocrites and their blind followers, are compared to the salty, bitter water. The believer, who has confirmed belief in the Hereafter, does all deeds preferring the soul and Hereafter and to benefit a thousand communities of the Lord’s creatures, thereby earning a reward from the Lord in the Hereafter, as explained in verse 6: 38. In contrast, the Fujjar, who have no confirmed belief in the Hereafter, do all deeds preferring the bodily and worldly life, showboating to mankind, and acting selfishly. Their deeds do not benefit a thousand communities of the Lord’s creatures. All the deeds of the believer are recorded in Illiyyeen in Paradise, as explained in verses 83: 18-22, whereas all the deeds of the Fujjar are recorded in Sijjeen in Hell, as mentioned in verses 83: 7-9.
