(Saba'a) 34 : 5
وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِنْ رِجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
And those who strive to defeat Our verses, such will have a grievous punishment.
The hypocrites who hide Adhikr and their blind followers who reject Adhikr are striving to defeat the Lord’s verses. It is told in verses 9: 28, 95, and 125 that they are filth and Adhikr will increase to them filth over filth. As told in verse 98: 6, such worst creatures in the land are the inmates of Hell. As told in verses 98: 7-8, those who believed and propagated Adhikr throughout the entire world, are the best creatures in the land. See explanation 2: 39; 22: 50-51; 31: 5-6.
