(Ahsaab) 33 : 7

And We took an agreement from all Prophets; from you, from Noah, Ibrahim, Mosa, and Jesus-the son of Mariyam; and We took from them a solemn agreement.

Even though this verse only mentioned about five Prophets, more than 124000 Prophets have been appointed by the Lord in different periods, and they all had the duty of conveying the Lord’s Message Adhikr to mankind. Moreover, it is also the duty of those who received the Lord’s Book to convey the Message of Adhikr to mankind. As told in verses 3: 81 and 187, while the Lord created mankind in Paradise, He took a covenant from the Prophets and those who have been given His Book that it should be conveyed to the people and shouldn’t be hidden. See explanation 5: 67; 32: 13-14; 35: 32.
