(Ahsaab) 33 : 31
وَمَنْ يَقْنُتْ مِنْكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا نُؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقًا كَرِيمًا
And if any of you devotedly obey Lord and His Messenger, and does righteous, We will reward her twice, and We have kept prepared honorable provision to her.
The wives of Messengers have witnessed Messenger’s life more than any other. That is why it is told in the verse that they will have double punishment if they commit any shameful deed. And facing all crises, if they are doing righteous, they will also get a double reward in the Hereafter. See explanation 2: 121; 4: 25; 9: 80.
