(Ali-Imran) 3 : 20

Then if they argue with you, then you say: “I have submitted my face wholly to Lord Allah and so do whoever follows with me”. Then you ask to those who have been given the Book and the illiterates: “Are you also submitting yourselves?” If they submit, verily they are guided, and if they turn back, then indeed the responsibility upon you is conveying the Message, and Allah is Observant of His servants.

During the Messenger’s period in Medina, the people of the Book were the Jews and Christians, and the illiterates were the Meccan pagans. Today the people of the Book are the Arabic Quran reading hypocrites and their weakling followers who hide and reject Adhikr. By forgetting the Lord and the aim of life, they have become Mujirims mentioned in 52 places such as in 7: 40; 10: 17; 32: 12, and 22. They are serving Satan instead of Lord as told in verses 36: 59-62. So at the time of their death Lord will tell them: “Nay, you received My verses, but you rejected Them, and you became arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers” as told in verse 39: 59. Every Fujjar will witness against their soul that indeed they were disbelievers at the time of death vide verses 7: 37, and on the Day of Judgment vide verse 6: 130.

None has the right to select his era of birth and death, nation, caste, color, parents, sex, etc. It is the duty of mankind endowed with intelligence to identify the Impartial Lord, himself, and do righteous deeds beneficial for thousand communities of Lord’s creatures as explained in verses 4: 1-2. But only one in a thousand believer who testifies Adhikr will fulfill the aim of life. And for the other people belonging to Messenger’s community who didn’t receive the Book if they believe with Oneness of Lord and the Day of Judgment, and does honorable deeds, they have their reward with their Lord, and there shall be no fear upon them and for them will not be grieved as explained in verse 2: 62. See explanation 2: 78-79, 254, and 7: 179.
