And to know those who are the hypocrites. When it was said to them: “You come, and you fight in Lord Allah’s way or you defend”. They replied: “If we had known that there would be surely a fight, we would have followed you”. They were nearest to disbelief than to faith on that day; they are saying with their mouths that is not in their hearts, and Allah is the Best Knower with whatever they are concealing.
It is told in verses 6: 59; 9: 51; 10: 61; 11: 6; 22: 70; 27: 75; 34: 3; 35: 11 and 57: 22: “Nothing is happening in the universe or yourselves except it has been prescribed in a Book before”. The Battle of Uhud is happened to recognize the Messenger and believers who are the hypocrites and who are the disbelievers.
When Messenger and followers went to Mecca for performing Umra, they were held at Hudayybiya by the Meccan pagans. After having a treaty with pagans, Messenger and followers returned to Medina. It is told in verses 48: 11-12: “Those who remained behind of the hypocrites will say to you: ‘Our properties and families forced us to stay back, so you seek forgiveness for us’. They say with their tongues that is not in their hearts. You say: "Then who could prevent Lord at all if He intended for you harm or intended for you benefit? Nay, Lord is ever aware of whatever you are doing. But you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families ever, and that was made pleasing to your hearts, and you assumed an assumption of evil and became a worthless people’".
Today the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who reject Adhikr are telling lies as told in verses 63: 1-4. They ridicule the believer who testifies Adhikr as: “He is an odd liar” as told in verse 54: 25. These worthless people mentioned in verses 25: 17-18 will only accept Adhikr as the Lord’s Book when they are being slain by the other people belonging to Messenger’s community after killing of Antichrist by Jesus as explained in verse 2: 85.
