(An-Naml) 27 : 46
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
He asked: "Oh my people, why are you impatient for evil before the good? Why don’t you seek forgiveness of Lord Allah, so that you may receive Mercy?"
The disbelievers of all time had rejected Adhikr and their Messenger and used to challenge them by asking that when will be the promise coming true as explained in verses 10: 47-48. See explanation 4: 32; 6: 155 and 10: 98.
