(Al-Muaminoon) 23 : 26
قَالَ رَبِّ انْصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
He prayed: "My Lord, help me since they have rejected me".
Messengers cannot do as they wish; instead, they will do anything according to what the Lord inspires them. It is told in verses 26: 117-118: “Noah prayed: ‘My Lord, indeed my people have rejected me. Then You judge between them and me with decisive judgment and save me and those who believe with me". It is told in verse 54: 10: “Noah prayed to his Lord: ‘Indeed I am defeated, so You help me". See explanation 10: 88; 11: 36-37 and 21: 76-77.
