(Ambiya') 21 : 38
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
And they are asking: "When this Promise will be happening if you are so truthful?"
The Fujjar are not asking such a question by their mouth, but their heinous and worthless lifestyle is as asking so. They are seeing the Doomsday distant whereas the Lord and believers see it near as told in verses 70: 6-7. For the disbelievers’ question ‘When this triumph will be happening if you are so truthful?’ as told in verse 32: 28, the Believer is commanded to reply through verse 32: 29 as ‘On the day of Triumph the acceptance of the belief of those who disbelieved will not be benefited for them, and for them will not be granted respite’”.
