Lord Allah has sealed upon their hearts and their hearings, and a veil upon their sights; and for them have a grievous punishment.
The hypocrites, even though they have the faculties of hearing, sight, and intelligence, they do not utilize them for understanding Adhikr to fulfill the aim of life. It is told in verse 7: 179: “Surely, We have destined all of Jinns and mankind to Hell; they have hearts with which they don’t understand the aim of life, they have eyes with which they don’t see the Insight, they have ears with which they don’t hear Dhikree; those are like the livestock; nay, they are even more strayed, they are the only heedless”. It is told in verses 18: 100-101: “We will bring Hell near to the disbelievers on the Day of Judgment; they are those whose eyes had been under a veil towards the Book Dhikree and were unable to hear It”. Verse 50: 22 warns: “The one who has a veil upon his eyes about Adhikr in this world, on the Day of Judgment that veil will be removed and it will be told: ‘This Day your sight is so sharp to everything’”. It is told in verses 20: 124-126: “Whoever lives by neglecting the Book Dhikree; indeed, for him has a narrowed life in this world, and he will be resurrected as blind on the Day of Judgment. He will ask: ‘Oh my Lord! Why did you resurrect me blind, while I had sight in the worldly life?’ Lord will reply: ‘Just like that Our verses had come to you, then you forgot them, just like that this Day you are also forgotten”. It is told in verses 17: 97-98: “And whomever Lord Allah guides, he is the guided; and whomever He lets astray, you will never find for them any protector besides Him, and We will summon them on the Day of Judgment on their faces as blind, dumb and deaf, their abode is Hell; every time it subsides, We will increase the blaze. That is their reward because they disbelieved in Our verses and asked: ‘When we become bones and anthills, will we be resurrected as a new creation?’”. In these Last Days since there is a group of believers anywhere in the world, the odd believer is commanded to holdfast Adhikr with his/her molar teeth.
It is told in verses 25: 33-34: “Those who didn’t follow and testify Adhikr which is the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book, they will be dragged in the Hell prone on their faces, they are in the worst place and they are the most strayed”. It is told in verse 8: 22: “Indeed, the worst beasts in the sight of the Lord are the deaf who don’t hear the Book Dhikree and the dumb who don’t reflect It. See explanation 1: 7; 6: 25-26 and 18: 57.
