(Al-Baqara) 2 : 202
أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا ۚ وَاللَّهُ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

Such will have a portion from what they have earned, and Lord Allah is swift in Reckoning.

Before the revelation of this verse, the strayed pilgrims were praising and remembering their forefathers. So this verse is revealed commanding the pilgrims to remember, praise, and glorify always the Lord Allah alone. Today as there is no group of believers anywhere in the world, there is no pilgrimage. So the odd believer who testifies Adhikr follows a mode of prayer and lifestyle explained in verses 7: 205-206.

It is told about the Fujjar in verses 14: 2-3: “Vile valley of Hell from the severe punishment is to the disbelievers; they are preferring the worldly life than the Hereafter and are obstructing people from the path of Lord Allah and are trying to make it crooked, those are in far astray”. It is told in verses 14: 28-29: “Have you not seen those who converted the Favor of Lord Allah into disbelief and made permissible to their people the house of worthless? Hell, they will be roasted in it; what an evil place to reside!” It is told in verse 42: 20: “Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, the Lord increases for him in his harvest; and whoever desires the harvest of this world – Lord gives him thereof, but there is no share for him in the Hereafter”. It is told in verses 17: 18-19: “The one who desires for the worldly life, Lord hasten for him in it what He wishes, for whom He intends; then He has made for him Hell, he will be burned in it as disgraced and outcasted. And whoever desires the Hereafter, endeavor for it, and he is a believer, then surely their endeavors will be appreciated”. It is told in verses 11: 15-16: “Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments, Lord will provide them a chance for their deeds therein, and therein they will not be reduced in measures. Those are the ones for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter except the Fire, and whatever they produced therein is lost, and whatever they used to do is falsehood”. The Fujjar are unaware about the Recording Book fastened around everyone’s neck which will be produced as an Illuminating Spread Open Book for ones’ Reckoning on the Day of Judgment as explained in verses 17: 13-14. On the Day of Judgment, the Standard of Judgment will be Adhikr, so the falsehood followers of Fujjar will be the losers as told in verses 7: 8-9 and 40: 78.

Verse 3: 199 also ends with: “indeed, Allah is very Swift in reckoning”. Verse 6: 62 ends with: “Lord is the Swiftest of all Reckoners”. See explanation 2: 254 and 4: 85.
