(Al-Baqara) 2 : 133

Or were you witnesses at the time of Ya’qoob’s death when he asked his sons: “Whom will you serve after my departure?” They all replied: “We shall serve your Deity and the Deity of your forefathers Ibrahim, Ismael and Ishaaq, the Single Deity alone, and we are submitted wholly to Him”.

Deity is the One to Whom can seek refuge and help, upon Whom one can entrust, only about Whom one can fear, and unto whom one has to answer about his worldly life on the Day of Judgement. The pledge “No Deity except Lord Allah” will only be fulfilled by testifying six thousand two hundred and thirty-six verses of Adhikr. The believer who holds the Safeguard Adhikr, no harm shall happen upon him, and only he can die in peace and tranquilly by seeing the Lord with soul. See explanation 1: 4 and 2: 255.
