(Maryam) 19 : 9
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئًا
He said: "Your Lord says that It is like that, It is easy for Him; He created you before while you were nothing"
It should be noticed in this verse that Prophet Zakaria is asking Lord Allah directly, but the reply is given through the Angels as explained in verse 3: 41.
