(Al-Hijr) 15 : 76
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُقِيمٍ
And indeed, it is remaining on the main road.
The destroyed city of Sodom is situated between Hejaz and Syria as well as between Iraq and Egypt. That is the Dead Sea and the surrounding place. See explanation 5: 60; 7: 175-176 and 8: 22.
