To Him alone should do the supplication of Truth. And those whom they call upon besides Him don't respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward the water and say: "Reach my mouth", but it will not reach him. And the prayer of disbelievers is nothing except astray.
For responding and accepting deeds one must follow Adhikr and believe with Allah as Adhikr submits as explained in verse 2: 186. The Proof and Trust Adhikr is revealed upon 313 Messengers to warn mankind that there is no deity except Allah and to serve Him alone as explained in verse 4: 163. Today, these verses are read by the hypocrites and Kuffar who have made intercedes and associates upon Lord Allah. They are the true disbelievers as explained in verses 4: 150-151. Verses 40: 47-50 say: “When they are quarreling in the Fire, the weaklings will tell the hypocrites: ‘Indeed, we were following you, then are you able to reduce a portion from the Fire for us?’ The hypocrites will say: ‘Indeed, we all are in it, indeed, Lord Allah has judged among His servants.’ And inmates of the Fire will ask the keepers of Hell (Angels): ‘You appeal to your Lord to lighten a day of the punishment from us’. Then keepers will ask: ‘Hadn’t the Messengers come to you with Explanations?’ Inmates will reply: ‘Of course, they had’. Then the keepers will say: ‘Then you appeal’, and the prayer of Kafirs increases nothing except astray”. Verses 43: 74-78 say: “Indeed, the Mujirims will remain in the punishment of the Hell forever; it will not be eased for them and they will feel confounded in It. And We have not done any unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves. They will call: ‘Oh Malik! May your Lord put an end to us’? Malik will reply: ‘Indeed, you should abide therein forever, verily We had come to you with the Truth, but most among you were hating the Truth’”. These heedless and aimless people are seeing sexual organs of opposite genders with their hearts during their prayers as explained in verse 6: 28. See explanation 2: 165-167; 11: 118-120 and 12: 108.
