(Yoosuf) 12 : 14
قَالُوا لَئِنْ أَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّا إِذًا لَخَاسِرُونَ
They said: "If a wolf should eat him while we are a mighty clan, indeed then, we would be the losers".
"We would be the losers" in verse means if the brothers couldn't protect Yoosuf from a wolf, they would have become a useless clan.
