(Hood) 11 : 34

If Lord Allah intends to put you aimlessly, my counsel to reform you will not be benefitted even though I wish to counsel you; He is your Lord, and into Him, you all will be returned.

Adhikr was not codified during the lifetime of any of the 313 Messengers. At all times, verses were revealed to the concerned Messengers according to the circumstances they were dealing with. Adhikr (the Truth) was revealed to Messenger Muhammad part by part for reading It upon mankind step by step, as explained in verses 17:105-106. For the question of Meccan pagans about why the Messenger didn’t get the Book altogether, the Messenger is commanded to say to them: “Indeed, I follow what has been inspired to me from my Lord; this is an Insight from your Lord, the Guidance and Mercy for the believing people,” as explained in verse 7:203.

Today, the Splendid Book Adhikr is codified by the Three-Time-Knower Lord through the Three-Time-Knower mentioned in verse 25:59. So whoever holds fast to It, he has held fast to the Lord and is guided into the Straightpath, as explained in verses 3:101; 4:174-175 and 5:48. The believer is commanded to do Jihad with Adhikr against the Kuffar and hypocrites who hide and reject It, as explained in verse 9:73. See explanation 6:7; 7:178, and 10:108.
