(Hood) 11 : 29

"And Oh my people I don't ask any wealth for It. My reward is nowhere except with Allah. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people of ignorance".

Messengers or believers do not accept any reward for propagating Adhikr. The odd-believer who testifies to Adhikr utilizes all the bestowed wealth and bounties for the propagation of Adhikr (the Trust and Balance to keep the universe in its equilibrium) as explained in verse 9:60. Messengers Noah, Hood, and Salih, as well as Prophets Lot and Shuhaib, told their people: “I am not asking any reward for conveying the Message to you; indeed, my reward is with none except the Lord of all worlds,” as explained in verse 10:72.

Chiefs among Meccan pagans were irritated that most of the followers of the Messenger were weaklings. So, they pointed out the reason for not joining with Messenger. As a reply to this, the Lord revealed verse 6:52. The Messenger and believers can't obey the disbelievers, as explained in verse 9:3.

Today, the soulless and worthless hypocrites and Mushriks have made their food ‘rejecting Adhikr’. Thus, they are ruining themselves, but they perceive it not, as explained in verses 6:25-26. See explanation 9:73; 10:72, and 16:125.
