(Al-Feel) 105 : 3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
He sent upon them “Ababeel birds.”
The “Ababeel bird” is mentioned only in this Surah in the Lord’s Book. Since on no other occasion is it mentioned that such birds were sent, it is to be understood that they were a special army of Allah. See explanation 96:18.
